Alexa J. Tortora

Alexa J. Tortora: Alexa J. Tortora is a lawyer and the Head of Legal and Compliance at Allegiant Global Solutions, LLC. By attending New York Law School, Fordham University, and Long Island University, Mrs. Tortora holds a Juris Doctorate, Masters Degree and Bachelor's Degree. Her field of law is corporate law; she focuses on regulatory compliance and security law for registered investment advisors such as hedge funds. Mrs. Tortora would also like to note that her type of law does not require being present in a courtroom and is great for girls who are interested in finance. Her advice is, “be proactive in seeking leadership opportunities, even if they’re small at first. Reach out to experienced professionals who can guide you, offer advice, and share opportunities in the profession you are interested in. Daria Rose

Daria Rose: Daria Rose is a lawyer at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. She attended Harvard College then Yale Law School majoring in government. “As a corporate lawyer, I'd advise high school girls interested in law to start developing strong analytical and writing skills now. Michele Itri

Michele Itri: Michele Itri is an attorney at a mid-size law firm with about 60 people, Tannenbaum Helpern, in New York City, though she started the first five years of her career at a much larger firm. She holds a JD and license to practice law in New York. Michele attended Colgate University then Harvard Law School. By being a tax and corporate lawyer who specializes in work with private investment funds, hedge funds and private equity funds, Michele spends her days drafting legal documents that implement her clients business ideas and transactions with their partners. In her field Michele is constantly learning about changes in regulations and different structures and methods that her clients can use to bring their business ideas to life. Additionally, this career utilizes negotiation skills when needed to negotiate the best terms for clients with their business partners.
